our story

In the year 2002, a soil scientist named Corrie van der Westhuizen, created an organic, agricultural product called MOS (Microbial Organic Solutions), which boosted a plant’s natural immune system and resistance against pests and diseases. The results obtained with the use of MOS was phenomal; farmers’ crops were healthier and bigger. In several cases, the harvest doubled in size compared to previous harvests which didn’t receive MOS.

An AIDS and TB clinic worker from the Northern Cape heard of this agricultural product, and contacted Corrie with the hope that he could design a similar product for humans. There were no such product available on the market at the time, and Corrie realized the great need in South Africa for a 100% natural, organic immunity booster for humans.

With a MSC degree but with no medical background, Corrie wasn’t sure how to develop such a product for humans and went on his knees and prayed to God for guidance. Early the following morning, God woke him up with a recipe. The recipe was a combination of probiotic bacteria, organic acids and extracts.

With years of research he has previously done on the single components of the recipe, he combined all the ingredients and brought it to the AIDS and TB clinic worker. The clinic worker used it as an aid to help improve health on terminal ill patients. After 6 weeks of daily use and careful observation, the results and feedback received were astounding. The patients grew stronger and healthier; to such an extent that terminally ill, bed lying patients were sent back home, since they grew healthy and strong enough to return to their normal, day to day lifestyle.

And so Rafaa® was born. After the wonderful results and more testing, Corrie named the product “Rafaa”, derived from one of God’s names, Jehovah Rapha, which means “healing”.

What is rafaa?

Rafaa® is a specialized mixture of live probiotics (good bacteria) and organic acids that our body desperately needs on a daily basis to keep itself healthy and energized. Rafaa® is specifically designed to help strengthen your immune system and regulate the pH balance in your body.

Your health (immune system) and energy levels directly correlate with how much good bacteria reside in your digestive system. An estimate of over 400 different types of good bacteria in our stomach are responsible for the digesting of foods and the manufacturing of various vitamin B’s, which sustains us with energy.

We are supposed to naturally consume probiotics and organic acids within our daily diets, but due to the fact that most of our foods are treated for pests and insects, these good qualities in food has slowly faded away. Due to the all the chemical toxins found in food, our bodies are unconsciously, slowly being poisoned. This causes the good bacteria in your stomach to die, which weakens your immune system, causing various health issues like infections and the flu.

Controlled Diet

May I use Rafaa when I am on a strictly controlled diet?

Most Rafaa may be used while on diet. Rafaa is 100% natural and contains no presservatives, harmful chemicals and sugars. Fix Energy Drink may not be used during diets, because it contains fructose and glucose.

Sore/Infected Throat

May Rafaa be used for sore throats and throat infections?

Yes, Rafaa may help with the relief from soar throats and infections. It is advised to gargle with Rafaa up to 3 times a day or as needed to aid in the healing process.

Does Rafaa Contain...

Does Rafaa® contain honey, earthworms or any other animal derivatives?

No, Rafaa® is a combination of organic acids and probiotics which is also naturally found in fruit, vegetables and soil.

Usage Instructions

How and when should Rafaa® be used?

It is recommended to use Rafaa® daily, as your body needs probiotics and organic acids on a daily basis to keep itself healthy. If your energy levels are low or you are struggling with a low immune system, it is recommended to use Rafaa® 2-3 times a day as it can assist the body in regaining energy and health. Rafaa® should not be used late afternoon or evening, as it could keep you awake.

Diabetics

May diabetics use Rafaa?

Yes, Rafaa is safe to use for diabetics, except for Fix Energy Drink due to fructose and glucose.

Open Wounds

May Rafaa be used on open wounds?

Yes, excellent results have been obtained by using Unflavoured Rafaa® on open wounds. Rafaa® has been known to have anti-inflammatory properties and may also help assist the body with cell regeneration and reparation. Rafaa® also works great for insect bytes, skin infections, burn wounds, etc.

Storage

May Rafaa® be stored in the fridge?

No, Rafaa® must be stored at room temperature, but not in direct sunlight. This probiotics and organisms in Rafaa® are in a living phase, if placed in fridge, these organisms goes back into a sleeping/spore phase which can cause the probiotics to not have an immediate effect in your body.

Dosage Instructions

What are the dosage instructions?

Follow dosage instructions as recommended on the label of each product. Rafaa® can be diluted with water, ice tea, fruit juice or cool drink to camouflage the taste. Shake well before use, as settlement of content occurs.

Rafaa & Medication

May Rafaa be used in ocnjuction with other medication?

Yes, Rafaa may be used while on medication, but it is strongly advised to first drink medication, wait at least half an hour and then only use Rafaa. We recommend consulting your doctor first.

Eczema, Acne etc.

May Rafaa® be used on eczema, acne and other skin conditions?

Yes, Rafaa® may help with the relief and healing from various skin conditions. Apply to affected skin area and air dry. Repeat application 3-5 times a day or as often as needed.

Rafaa's Colour

Why is there often a discolouration in Rafaa®?

Rafaa® is a 100% organic product and only natural raw materials are used in the manufacturing of Rafaa®. Depending on the source of raw materials found and used, Rafaa® can have different colour and taste from time to time. Even though the colour/taste might slight differ at times, it will have no effect on the quality and the outcome of the product. Rafaa® undergoes strict quality control tests, ensuring that you always have the very best in health and quality.

Shelf Life

What is the shelf life of Rafaa®?

The shelf life of Rafaa® is indicated on the bottom of the bottle. Rafaa® is still good to use even after the expiry date, we’ve tested bottles older than 5 years and it was still in a 100% condition.

Pregnancy

May pregnant woman, nursing mothers and babies under 2 years of age use Rafaa?

Only unflavoured Rafaa and lemon/Orange Rafaa is recommended to be used during this period. Please avoid Aloe and Mineral Rafaa, as it contains Aloe Ferox which should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation.

Rafaa and my Teeth

Can Rafaa® have any negative effect on my teeth?

Due to the acid content in Rafaa®, it can damage teeth enamel when proper dosage instructions aren’t followed. It is recommended not to drink Rafaa® undiluted, as it can damage teeth enamel over a prolonged period.

Side Effects

Are there any side effect known when using Rafaa®?

No long term side effects are known, but you may experience detox symptoms for the first few days when using Rafaa®.

Animal Harm

Is animals harmed in the development and manufacturing of Rafaa®?
